Police and Seniors Battle in Olympic Challenge
Durham residents Lucy Johnson (standing) and Evelyn Parker (sitting) had no loss of words during this friendly game of Scrabble at the 2015 Police vs. Seniors Olympic Challenge last week at the Durham Center for Senior Life. For the sixth consecutive year, the police department has coordinated the event as part of National Crime Prevention Month to strengthen police-community relationships and promote personal safety strategies.
