Seniors take on police in Olympic Challenge
The Durham Police Department sponsored its fifth annual Police Officers vs. Seniors Olympic Challenge as part of its National Crime Prevention Month outreach. The event strengthens police and community relationships, particularly among Durham’s senior residents. Games included billiards, table tennis, horseshoes, checkers, scrabble, dissemination of crime prevention resources and more.
